Only in Africa can you have triple digits growth in the middle of a pandemic.
Elsewhere, Financial institutions are suffering to stay afloat but in Africa, inspite of the pandemic our financial institutions’returns and the economy in most countries are growing.
My observations
1- the economy in African countries still has a long runway to grow unlike the matured markets in the West
2- The African economy is very resilient
3- Before global economy recovery, African countries will be in sustainable growth.
4- The African economic miracle is mostly driven by Agribusiness, Energy, FinTech and E-commerce among other things.
